Aquarius Divers offers a wide range of PADI diving courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Dive Master. The Discover Scuba Diving will probably be the first course you’ll do, a short theory session followed by a dive in the pool and then a guided dive in the sea with a professional instructor will leave you gagging for more. Luckily, there is more! The Discover Scuba Diving can be built on very easily and within three days you could be a PADI Open Water diver. With this certification you will be able to dive to eighteen metres without an instructor. Be warned though, you may end up loving it so much you quit your job and move somewhere like Zanzibar. Just ask any of the dive team!
Once you have your Open Water to next step is the Advanced Open Water . On this course you’ll learn about deep diving and learn to navigate underwater with a compass over two dives. Then you have three more dives where you can choose what interests you and do that. Underwater photography? No problem. Search and Recovery dives? Easy. Perfecting your buoyancy? It’s your choice. All of the dives you do on the advanced course also count towards certification in specialty areas of diving too so if you really enjoyed something and want to keep doing it then we can show you how.
For more advanced divers we offer the PADI Rescue Diver course. Here you will learn rescue techniques, underwater problem solving and how to anticipate problems before they occur, thus making you into a safer, more confident diver. This course goes with the Emergency First Response first aid and CPR qualification and can also be done with the DAN O2 Provider to ensure you are prepared for all emergencies. Once you’ve done all these then you’ll start thinking, ‘I wonder how I become a Divemaster?’
